Jenn speaks to Annie Au, the creator, and founder of Soulful Yin Yoga Method, the only teacher training that specializes in the emotional side of yin yoga and Chinese meridians where she currently teaches online from Sri Lanka! Annie shares with us how a breakup in her early 20s led her to give up her ballet career to find herself and begin her spiritual path to seek happiness. How she grew up as an immigrant in Canada, her respect for her parents, her darkest days, and what led her to create Soulful Yin Yoga Method in hopes of helping others connect to their emotions and intuitions.

There is no fundamental truth, you have to be exposed to many philosophies because that is how we can expand our consciousness. At the end of the day you have to find your own truth, you have to see what works for you and that is the only way you can be the kindest person you can be, because you are living your authentic self.

About Annie Au:

Creator of the Soulful Yin Yoga Method, the only teacher training that specializes in the emotional side of yin yoga and Chinese meridians. Annie embarked on her spiritual journey over 10 years ago after an apocalyptic breakup which left her crippling in anxiety. Tired of living life in chronic fear & despair, she searched for ways to reclaim her happiness. In the last decade, Annie traveled around the world leading yoga teacher trainings while exploring her own spiritual path.

From studying Taoism and Chinese meridians, Anne has recognized the intrinsic connection between our body and emotions. If our physical health declines, it directly affects our mood and therefore affects how we make choices in life. This finding has propelled Annie to create a course that helps others to connect with their emotions so that they can cultivate balances in life.

Applying the decade of experiences and knowledge Annie has acquired, her signature Soulful Yin Yoga Method is designed to help others become a master of their own emotions so that they can be in tune with their truest selves.
