Summary of Episode:

Jenn speaks to Tara Eden, a Feldenkrais Method professional and ISMETA® Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator based out of Chiang Mai, Thailand about embodied spirituality. Not as popular of a term for many compared to yoga and meditation, Tara shares with us what somatic and embodied movement means. How her own high paced city life in NYC back in the early 2000s made her realize after a trip to Chiang Mai to study with her Thai Massage teacher (name?) that she wanted to embrace an embodied lifestyle, living the slow life, being true to herself and finding grounded-ness and being able to share this awakening and technique with more. We even give you some tips on how to ground yourself after too much screen time!

Be aware of how you are being on yourself, to consider whose voice that is and what that voice feels like inside you. So much of our limitations in life is self limitations. If feels awful in our bodies and we learn how not to feel it but we can learn how to feel is, and that is helpful..

About Tara Eden:

After graduating from a 4-year Feldenkrais Method Professional Program and becoming an ISMETA® Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator – and from years practicing Thai Massage, teaching yoga, exploring creative movement and movement therapy, and a lifetime of observing people and what drives them – Tara helps people learn how to reconnect to their body, to realize where they are causing themselves unnecessary pain or strain, to discover new healthier self-use, to be empowered to trust and learn from their own embodied experience and to discover a unique inner calm, stillness and knowing that arrives spontaneously in an embodied state change.
